Lyre Suspension Connbox
The Connbox has been designed to isolate and eradicate cable-borne noise to the microphone. The Connbox acts as a transition connector and anchor point for the microphone tail.
- Only the highest quality components are used in the Connbox. With Gold 3-pin Neutrik X-series XLR connectors, and ultra soft Mogami star-quad cable. The lengths of cable are set to work perfectly with the microphone fitted in the windshield, without touching the baskets internal surface. The soft cable greatly reduces the transmission path of cable-borne noise, and so reducing cable rumble.
- The only difference between our optional accesssory Connboxes and the ones that we will be supplying is that the XLR tails are hard-wired into the box.
- For Windshield 7 & 8 kits and Large Modular Suspensions it was not possible to offer the new hard-wired Connboxes; instead we will be sending out suspensions with a soft microphone tail with 3-pin Neutrik XLR connectors.
