Connbox

The Connbox can be fitted to the Modular Suspension to isolate and eradicate cable-borne noise. The Connbox acts as a transition connector and anchor point for the microphone tail. Available in mono or stereo it has a flexible starquad output cable that terminates in a 3 (or 5) pin XLR at the pistol grip. The input cable is an ultra-thin pluggable tail fitted with either a Lemo connector (Schoeps CCM) or an XLR socket. The cable needs no special dressing or positioning – just plug and go.

XY/MS Suspension

Designed for remote capsules and compact microphone use, the XY/MS mount will accept 19/20mm or 21/22mm diameter microphones. It uses an accurate reference pin location system preset 120°, 105°, 90°,70° or 0° (MS) inter-capsule angles while maintaining true vertical coincidence.

The entire XY/MS assembly fits, as an accessory, into the Rycote Stereo Extended Ball Gag Suspension

Boom Adaptor

Lightweight, small swivel with ratchet lever handle and a brass 3/8” Whitworth female thread for pole mounting.

Pistol Grip Handle

A lightweight plastic handle, with ratchet lever handle and brass 3/8” Whitworth female thread in base and slot for XLR connector moulded in side.

XLR Holder

The new XLR Holder one of the simplest and most useful little products you’ll ever come across, solving the eternal problem of how to attach your XLR connectors when using a boom pole or mic stand.

From January ’03 an XLR Holder will be included, at no extra cost, with each Modular Suspension. Manufactured from flexible HytrelTM, the holder provides a quick, noise free, reliable clamp for the XLR. The boom fixing has a custom hexagonal core to mate with the Rycote Boom Adaptor – so you set the rotational location of the clamp precisely. If you’re not using a Rycote adaptor, no problem, just turn the Holder over and it still provides a firm fitting between the pole and mount.
